Fellows participate in comprehensive and balanced didactic training that includes institutional didactic sessions, discussions of seminal multiple sclerosis (MS) papers as well as other external didactic and continuing medical education offerings.

  • MS-specific conferences include a monthly MS Journal Club, a monthly Patient Case conference and a monthly discussion of seminal MS papers (continuing a long-running tradition at our center).  Fellows build on their knowledge base by partaking in a structured reading program of continuously updated papers on broad topics in MS and neuroimmunology.
  • Neurology conferences include weekly Neurology Grand Rounds, a monthly Neuroradiology conference, and a monthly Center of Neuroimmunology & Neuroinfectious Diseases case conference.
  • Additional didactic experiences include the ACTRIMS Didactic Webinar Series, Project ECHO MS (Salim Chahin is the Medical Director of the Central ECHO MS Hub), and the NMSS Complex case series.
  • Research conferences (optional) include neuroimmunology lab meetings, Hope Center lectures and a yearly CNND symposium.
